Spring Valley Reservoir, Latah County, Idaho

Small Boats, No Motors Allowed

Spring Valley Reservoir is located in a forested valley not far from Troy, Idaho off of HWY 8. An earthen dam creates a half-mile-long reservoir popular with locals for fishing, swimming, and general boating fun. This is a no-wake lake, and no personal watercraft are allowed on this reservoir. There are several fishing docks and a small island to fish from. One gravel launch with dock gives access to the lake. Fee camping sites with fire pits and running water near the restrooms are available. There is one sand volley ball court and a hiking trail that travels around the lake. Fishing: Info coming soon. Directions: From Moscow Idaho on HWY 95, take HWY 8 east all the way to Troy Idaho. Remain on HWY 8, going up a large hill and then descending a little on the other side of this hill, and to your left/north you will see the access sign to this reservoir (Spring Valley Rd.). Follow the road to Spring Valley Reservoir. Maps: View Google Map below...
