Granite Lake, Bonner County, Idaho

Granite Lake (20 acres) is just off HWY 95 and is an ideal fishing lake. This lake is near Kelso Lake. There is a free camping area just across from the boat launch with pit toilet, but with no running water. The boat launch is a mix of gravel and mud, and there is a dock along the launch. Water depth at end of dock at the launch is only about 3 feet. There is a slide area right behind the camping area, which to me seems to be a bit potentially hazardous for campers. The lake is an electric motors only lake. For sailors there is a power line that crosses the boat launch, however I think the wind swirl due to the shape of hills around this lake. Fishing: Bullhead Catfish, Cutthroat Trout, Kokanee, Large Mouth Bass, Pike, Rainbow Trout. Limit of 6 each but check to make sure on which species. No limit on other species. See sign when fishing at this lake. For more fishing info call 208-769-1414.  Lake Dimensions & Coordinates: 20 acres; Maximum depth 20 feet; elevation 2145 ft; Coordinates T54N R3W Sec 27BCFG.
