Blythe Lake, Grant County, Washington

Small Boats, Motors Allowed
Small gravel boat launch, no restroom or running water
Blythe Lake is popular fishing and water foul viewing area. During high water levels it is possible to boat from this lake in to Chukar Lake to the east, which is not much of a lake as in the summer it nearly dries up. To get the Chukar lake by land park in the Blythe Lake launch parking area and hike east along the shore line. Directions: MarDon Resort is just a little over a mile from this lakes sole launch. From Moses Lake take HWY 17 south toward Othello; turn right (west) on HWY 262/O'Sullivan Dam Road. After crossing the dam and starting into the right curve of the road there is a gravel road with a public fishing sign and white faded sign under it indicating Corral, Blythe, & Chukar lakes. Proceed down this road to access these lakes. Maps: To view a map click on and type in,  Fishing: Rainbow Trout. Potholes State Park, WA. pan to the east to view Blythe Lake not far from the O'Sullivan Dam just east of Corral Lake.
