Antelope Lake, Bonner County, Idaho

Antelope Lake (16 acres) in Bonner County Idaho is a private lake with public access on Vista Utility land, just east of Clark Fork, Idaho above the city of Clark Fork, Idaho on a hill in a beautiful forested setting. The view overlooking the Clark Fork River and Lake Pend Oreille is spectacular. This is a "no motors allowed" lake, with no restroom or overnight camping allowed. There are, however, 2 fire pits, and some primitive hiking trails. Fishing: Arctic Grayling, Cutthroat Trout, Eastern Brook Trout, Rainbow Trout, Large Mouth Bass, Pumpkinseed. Lake Dimensions & Coordinates: 16 acres; Maximum depth estimated at 20 ft; elevation 2754 ft; Coordinates T55N R2E Sec 12D. Longitude 116d 9m 6s -to- 116d 9m 27s west. Latitude 48d 8m 3s -to- 48d 8m 9s N. Directions: The road you need to access this lake is just 2 miles east of Clark Fork Idaho on HWY 200 (measured from Sportsman access sign in down town Clark Fork), on the north side of the road, road number 57209. There is a white Vista Utilities sign at the beginning of the road. When going east on HWY 200 you know you have passed the road if you see a blue sign that says boaters/anglers tune radio to am 1610 AM. Going west you have gone too far if the road nears the river and you can see a bridge. The road to the lake winds up hill about a mile. The road can only be traveled by 4x4 vehicles due to certain points in the road which are extremely rough with lose sand, rocks and small boulders. Maps: View map below...
